Update from “the road in Michigan” w/Steven Courtney + Suitcase Musicians

We are on our 3rd day of shows in Michigan playing for the “kiddos” out here! All is well… 3 shows down, 4 more to go before the end of the day on Friday! I am really, really enjoying my time playing bass as a Suitcase Musician and hanging w/Steven, Bobby, Doug and Mindy.

It’s pretty amazing to see the student’s and teacher’s faces at the schools where we perform light up in response to the tunes we play….. plus, I get to sit back and watch Steven work the crowd which is a bit of “schooling” all in itself!

Heading to Bell’s Brewery here this afternoon out in Kalamazoo, MI! Doing a little sightseeing and the like with our time off from playing shows….. More to come later this week!

PS. That’s me hiding in the back right behind Mindy!
